What is a SMAC athlete?
We like to call all our clients athletes. Everyone at SMAC, regardless of the sport they play, used to play, or never played, is passionate about physical activity, healthy living, and trying new activities. It is our goal to give all our clients a boost in strength and confidence. We accomplish our goals via two main routes:
Sports Performance Training
We have developed a well rounded performance enhancement program to help young athletes succeed. The positive environment of SMAC helps build confidence and provides excellent introduction to exercise. The from and habits our athletes learn here are carried with them through the rest of their athletic career.
Since our coaches are both ex-athletes at the college, they truly understand what it takes to program a successful sports performance program. Lots of areas are need to be addressed in a young athletes training program to give them the ability to reach their peak. If one area is deficient, injury and/or reduced performance will occur. SMAC's programming includes all of the following areas of strength and conditioning:
*Flexibility, Mobility, Stability *Speed, Agility, Quickness *Power, Strength, Conditioning *Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Recovery
At SMAC we are dedicated to helping you be successful. Whether you want to lose weight, get out of pain, have more energy to play with kids/grandkids, live a healthy lifestyle, or improve your golf game, SMAC is the place for you. SMAC believes in a complete balanced training program. Regardless of your current fitness ability there are 7 key areas in which everyone needs to improve. At SMAC we will work on improving all of them, with emphasis on your biggest needs. Our personal training program puts you in the drivers seat. You let us know what your goals are, and we give you the map to get there; with a lot of encouragement along the way!
